Functional Lab Tests

Most of the functional labs I utilize for my clients are sourced from Nordic Laboratories in Denmark, recognized pioneers in the field of functional lab testing. Following the order, the test kits will be sent directly to the client, who will then ship back the samples to the labs. Once analyzed, the results will be provided to me, and I will share them with you before our Results & Recommendations session. During this session, we will delve into your results comprehensively, with a primary focus on establishing clinical correlations.

Female/ Male saliva profile test

This salivary hormonal screening is employed to understand the factors causing stress. By examining imbalances in the body, particularly cortisol levels measured four times a day to assess circadian rhythm, we gain insights into the health of the HPA Axis (Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal Axis). We take a close look at cortisol, the primary stress hormone, and also assess the status of essential sex hormones for a comprehensive understanding of your health.

Intestinal permeability and absorption test

The IPA test measures the gut's ability to allow two specific sugar molecules, mannitol and lactulose, to pass through the intestinal lining. By interpreting the results alongside other lab findings and considering a client's medical history and concerns, we can draw conclusions about the health of the intestinal mucosa and its impact on gut immunity.

GI Map test

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus (GI-MAP) screening holds immense value by uncovering potential internal stressors, including parasites, bacteria, viruses, and yeast. Utilizing DNA qPCR technology, this advanced test precisely quantifies and identifies imbalances in gut bacteria (distinguishing between good and bad bacteria), yeast, viruses, fungi, parasites, and other microorganisms. Moreover, it offers valuable insights into digestion, detoxification, and immunity. We meticulously analyze all these markers, combining the results with information from previous screenings to form a comprehensive assessment of an individual's gut health.

Food Panel 96igG (Blood Spot) test

Food sensitivity testing identifies specific foods and food components that trigger a non-allergic immune or inflammatory reaction. Identifying foods that induce inflammatory responses is crucial as they are among the common "hidden stressors" contributing to disruptions in the body's natural processes. The testing process is straightforward and enables the evaluation the client's diet, facilitating tailored recommendations.

Metabolic Typing (MT) test

The Metabolic Typing Test is designed to help you discover the most suitable foods for your unique body type. Since people have genetically determined and highly individualized nutrition requirements, this test examines how your body processes nutrients such as proteins, fats, and carbs. It then provides personalized recommendations to support your energy levels and overall health. Think of it as a guide that tailors your food choices to align with your specific genetic and nutritional needs, making it simpler to maintain a healthy and balanced diet.
